I have a 2015 with a cts edge tuner having some issues with regen going on and off and not bringing the soot down to zero.

I did go and fill up my DEF at a truck stop with bulk DEF instead of using the blue DEF I am close to an oil change I was wondering if either one of these two things could cause the truck not to go down to 0 on the soot I mostly drive 70 miles each way to work a day so there majority highway miles and just wanting some advice if this is something I should be concerned about.

Not sure about the issue at hand but, I'd recommend just using the ac Delco Def fluid and keep your receipt. They'll blame it on poor Def quality before taking blame. Just my first hand experience with my 2011 lml and about 20 trips to the dealer. If you buy the Def from the dealer, the bill is on them.

Truck is very reliable has 68,xxxx not a single issue had the tuner on it for the last 10,000 this just started happening after the bulk DEF. The question was could the DEF or being close to a oil change have something to do with it.

The def maybe. I dont see how the oil would. I say go thru a tank or 2 of def and see what it does. Or you can drain it and refill it with the jugs

Go hook up to right when a regen starts and go pull it down the highway, you are passive regenerating and you need an active regen to get it down to zero soot grams.
