Arther Allen from Source Automotic in Portland OR won Super Diesel, he was on the dial all day. Ran several 11.9x. Dustin from ATS was second. Verlon and I both went out first round. I totally sucked. Got way ahead and on the brakes at the 1/8 mile was 1/2 sec ahead that that time and he drove around me. I had ran the same guy twice during qualifying and he ran 12.0 but times. I had launched on a much higher hp setting and figured I was going to break out big time. Out smarted myself. Verlon was fighting injector issues.
Super Street was won by a Dodge from SoCal. I don't remember the guy's name. Ran Pat from Big Twin Diesel out of Boise, Pat went up in smoke off the line. Rob was brain dead in Super Steet and did everything wrong, was beat by a truck that wasn't fast enough to require a roll bar.
Prostreet was won by the bully dog truck out of Idaho, he raced Rob in Max'd Out and Rob went up in smoke off the line and couldn't catch up.
Rob won the Prostock class in Max'd Out due to Dirty Max sucking a valve.
Top Diesel was won by the Bponci roadster. Rob raced him in an exibition pass and Bponci ran a 8.60 @ 159 to Rob 9.62 @ 145
The young guy who works for Rob at ATS (whose name excapes me right now) raced his dad's dmax (also his first drag race ever)and won Sportman beating the Mad Moose Mulisha from Boise in the finals. I think that Verlon went out in the first or second round of Sportman, I'm not sure which.
Idaho guys did pretty well, won Sportman and Prostock, second in Prostreet and Super Street and Super Diesel and Sportman. Was a good event, a lot of folks in the stands which was nice.
By rights Rob should have won all three speed events. But that is why they race, you never know when the other guy with the faster truck will screw up.
