I like both Black and White trucks, wife hates white and that's OK because I don't like peeling paint  Don't see many red trucks on the road around here, which is good because I hate red LOL

Friends always tell me my truck is tan NOT silver, until its sitting next to a pewter Chevy, then the story changes :D

IMO a clean all black truck sticks out just as much as red

White sucks, it's a PITA to keep it clean & keep the rail rust or whatever it's called at bay

My favorite colors are arrival blue & carbon metallic
For practicality silver birch

I knew we got along for some reason. :roflmao: I'd add Sunset Orange to that list.

Mine hasn't rusted any different than my black truck. Same identical spots actually. Paint peeled in the driver door at the skin line from the pressure washer, had it fixed right away, and the bed rails had a 1/4 line of small spots on the outer edges, I fixed that too and keep a healthy coat of oil underneath, only white trucks I've seen peel are ones that were never waxed and they're still hit and miss.

Tom I saw a pic of your truck on compD, thing looks clean.

I was talking about the rust spots in the clear coat that show up on any white vehicle up here, I guess it's from metal dust from brakes, plow blade, etc...
I'm sure their on every color vehicle but you don't see it so obvious as you on white

Mine gets them, my friend has a body shop and he gives me some funky smelling wax that takes them right out.

I love White, but let's be honest here, it shows every spec of dirt. Just as bad as black. I've got three dmaxs right now, black, white, and tungsten metallic. The tungsten is by far the easiest to keep "clean looking"

I just keep going on the Chevy and GMC websites and body color front and rear bumpers mean white or black. I am still pissed.

Is steve in the market for a 2017?!? I mean you really need a practical family vehicle.

I think a 2018 is more likely. I am hoping if I bitch for the next 8 months Gm will see it. Wife has a 16 4runner and I still have my 09 2500 gas but it might be time for a trade in.

It is less about looks and more about company colors for me. If you have the last name Trojano you buy a red truck.

But your truck is black? Im so confuzzled.

I saw a red truck in my shop again today. Its cab is on stilts about 4 feet in the air. The bed is outside under a cover. There's a Duramax and Allison sitting inside the frame rails, too. It doesnt run. But it could.....

My black truck is the exception to the rule. The new rig will be a company truck so that makes a big difference.
