You should check with the guys at Inglewood Transmission. I know they're a transmission shop, but pulling a transmission is 90% of the work when doing a rear main seal. They may be able to help you out.

We thought about that but its a big pill to swallow. We want to but the cost is huge for my pops. BUT! We will see if we can swing it.

You Mr Mike. We were at your shop last week. We talked about a transfer case leak. It turned out to be the start of the rear main seal and a bad ps pump leaking oil hiding the start of the seal leak.

Anyways, we will be back at your shop just let me know when is a good time. Thankyou Mike

Bring it next week. Very rare to have a rear main seal leaking on a Duramax.
