Line locks go on the front brake circuit. You push the brake pedal, hit the line lock, release the brake pedal, and the line lock holds the pressure in the front brake lines but the rear brakes are released.

Thats kinda what i was thinking but wanted some others input / advice before i bought one  , I see most come in 1/8" NPT thread , are they flared or not ? I would have to look at the front break system to see how hard it would be to install , for some reason I think there is seperate line coming out of the ABS modual for each front tire ? that would mean buying 2 line locks ?

I'm not sure, I've never installed one. You may have to get an NPT to inverted flare adapter. Couldn't you put it between the ABS and MC? As much weight reduction as you've done, I'm surprised you still have ABS.

What if you installed the line lock on the rear brake line in a reverse orientation? You then press the button, press the brake pedal and have a front only hold while the brake pedal is pressed. So long as the button is held, no flow to the rear brakes. Just release after the burn out.

Hmmm... gotta try it.

I may have to buy a cheap summit one to play with. I might ditch the ABS some time , just right now unless i can see it being a quick easy project i just dont have much time , always an option latter though !
