Rear axle seal??? Stumped....

Idiot!!! The face of the original seal was still on the truck side, didn't even realize anything out of place til today, pryed it off, put a GM seal in and it worked!! Damn I feel like a retard!!:roflmao:

That's what I was talking about. I wouldn't have known myself except I was that retard once.

I've never done one before, the seal looked different than the new one, but it never dawned on me, I did pull the clip off first, thought I screwed it up, seemed like it was supposed to stay, never looked on the other end though....

On my 02 I left them both, had to do it all over. The 05 and 06 I ripped then SOBs off before I even changed the rotors off the hubs.
