well have tried a different TCM. had no change with the shifts even after a 500 mile relearn under heavy throttle conditions. im almost afraid to drive it on a high tune and let it hit 4th in fear of breakin a hard part or something too expensive for me to fix. is there anything else short of pullin the trans apart?

You have something going on but it's not in the trans. Have you run a stock tune and let it learn down?

Yes. ran it on a stock tune for quite a while back and forth to work. even on a stock tune or mild tune you can still feel the double hit but its very faint, as soon as you up the power it becomes much more noticable. i dont know where else to look. Mike (mmlmm) says its not the tunes, and you say its not the trans. im lost any more and hate it

Mine was vicious but after about 4,000 miles it smoothed out and isn't horribly violent anymore....still a little rough but that's the way i like it:D

im goin on 25,000......

Are you running a stock TCM tune? Completely stock, down to the tire size.

on the ECM side, it would only correct my speedo. no difference in how it shifted from 3rd to 4th after putting some miles on it with the size corrected or not. Never touched the TCM for the speedo calibrating

If you had a tune that was fueling your trans into bad shifts, and reset the taps and ran the same tune its not going to learn to shift cleaner. Have you tried flashing a stock tune in and resetting the taps for 3-4 and 4-5? Id change both filters then do that and see where it leaves you.

completely understand that. Ive tried a few different tunes that Mike (mmlmm) has made me, reset the taps and its made no difference. ive put my stock tune back in and as i said before, the same shift feeling is there, it jsut doesnt hit nearly as hard as when its on a big tune. its faint but its there. already changed the spin on mutiple times (every 10k and jsut recently). have not changed the one in the pan as i dont feel there is much reason to. ive cut the spins open and they have been clean, fluid is new looking and does not smell burnt, nor do i have any other issues in any other shifting areas (up shifts or down shifts other than 3rd to 4th up shift. i can change it but i dont see it needing to be changed. could be very wrong though

It does need to be changed. Have you reset the taps after flashing the stock tune in?

every time i do a major tune change (as in takin out a DSP tune for stock tune, single big tune, single smaller tune, new dsp tunes)

Not a good idea to reset all the taps every time because it will diverge the shifts and you start from scratch. You throw everything off each time you do this. Who's idea was this?

The first log your rail pressure is low. Need to cut back pulse to bring it up. I seen it around the 16-17,000psi range and 18,000psi range to much in my opinion. As far as that causing your shifting problem, Im sure it dosen't help. I really didn't see anything in the second log that would cause it to shift funny. The mm3's aren't raising right as it shifts to cause flare or problems by what you can see on the log. Keep us posted.
