Covers the basis of this thread??? Are you serious? Do you see any TTS or STEVE COLE in the thread title or first post?

Does everyone around here really feel like they need to bash steve for aproval? Does it make them feel like they are less part of the gang if they dont say "poo on stevie"???

I bet you've never even owned, seen, or used a TTS product but because this is Duramax Diesels and lest we forget that steve cole is the only reason this whole forum or "team salad" exists if you think about it. I dont know why everyone feels like its part of the "team salad code of conduct" to be immature like this. You probably also have no idea what TTS even stands for, and where steve got his start in his business. (Ill give you a hint, it wasnt with duramax's)

Its really irritating, this is a thread about RBP. I know RBP and TTS are each three letters, but how are they related in any way that necessitates involving both of them in the same conversation. There has been like 5 threads started over the past year by Pat saying "ok ok ok fine. FROM NOW ON, we will be civil and never mention TTS or steve again". Every time Ive rolled my eyes and called BS, and sure enough it lasts for like a week before someone feels the need to add in some little snickering totally unrelated TTS comment to a thread.

Im not taking any one side, Ive never talked to steve in person, I dont own any of his products and never will own any of his products. I dislike him because of the way he conducts himself on

I bet more than half of you people on here just dislike him "just because everyone else does". You know what the funniest part is, the people who do the most TTS bashing and "steve sucks" posts, are the newbs who have only been around a year or two and no NOTHING of the real duramax-world drama history. They all come barging in and suddenly want to feel like they are part of the gang. Hmmm lets see...I see a lot of people bashing this steve cole guy...and whenever someone bashes him, everyone else laughs..hmm...ok so bashing steve must be the right thing to do....if I do that, Ill suddenly fit in and everyone will accept me! Perfect!!

There are TONS of people who have been around longer than me....but I feel like at least on this forum Im one of the few who has actually seen the duramax world go from playing kick ball with your friends at recess to jerry springer...Lots of things have changed in the past 5 years, and continuously bashing steve for stupid reasons isnt the way to a positive next 5 years.

I have a lot of respect for mcrat racing, pat, and everyone on here. Im not saying this to defend steve. Im saying this to protect everyone from looking like immature children and uphold the forward thinking, driven, and respectful image that 'team salad' can and does have.

rant off.

ben

Say what you wan't, I have dealt with Steve and bought his products in the past. I dislike him personally not his products. He took my money promised me one thing and quite the oposite happened, I relize there are no gaurantee's in the high performance world but he turned every thing around and made me sound like the crook when it was quite the oposite. SO yes!! I took it personal and feel the need to express my opinion (FROM EXPERIENCE) when I here Steve's name. Maybe you should get your facts strait;) Or better yet buy something from Steve for yourself and see how it works out before you go to bat for him. As far as fitting in, I could care less I am here to learn what I can and share some knowledge when possible.

I found this many post in the first page and a half with insults no worse no, better than mine. I could find more if you like.

I am just doing what everyone else is doing. Thanks for picking me out of the crowd, kinda says "thanks for thinking of me"

What everybody else is doing ...please . Grow up .

Im am sorry for calling you a Richard you are right about that , I was trying to get your attention . I see it worked

I only singled you out for direct insults to member about thier truck .

It was way out of line I thought . Post about RBP or stay out of here please .

Nice post Ben , sometimes somebody just has to say it like it is . :beer

The thread was junked up , I agree . It can get back to normal if it is taken seriously from here .

Back to RBP . Just get it going and it will get back on track from here .

I do agree about the star . It looks kind of dumb . I told Roland I thought it looked like the Logo from Rock Star video games . Grand theft auto maker .

Im the same way . I hear ya .

It is very popular here on the west coast and abroad with alot of guys . They do ok , but the economy is taking its toll on everyone . Maybe the prices will come down some on stuff . I give them some crap about it believe me on that . I express my opinion on the price of the grills and tell him what is thought about it everywhere on the web . I think they would sell many more if they cut the price in half on them . I still wouldnt buy one . I dont see myself why the grills arent about 3-400 .

But if they can stay a float agreed , more power to them .

The new wheels they came out with I thought looked really clean also .

The black with the crome accents I have seen on a few trucks and they always catch my eye .

I would have to agree that it's a location thing. I don't think the East coast comment was directed at the Cali crowd being the only ones into the bling. LA, Miami, New York City, all part of the bling circle. Some of us don't live in highly populated areas and this kind of product isn't seen. It's not really my thing but it looks like some people like there stuff. I am sure most think discontinued Centerline Hellcats are ugly but I like them and it's my truck so who cares.
