This is why most places will not take deposits over the phone or email. Then every tom dick & harry would be putting deposits down just to either not show up at all, back out after not being interested in the end, or not being able to afford and/or aquire a loan. Meanwhile this might go on for a week or 3 on per vehicle. It's a delicate matter.
