why do people have to lie so as the story goes a couple of weeks ago me and the old lady loaded up in my rc and went to silver city nm for the day to just have fun

well a friend of mine will call j who has a late lly rc came with us and at the time he didnt have the truck he was rocking his bone stock mustang gt now we were crusing around town me and him were in the stang and his gf and mine were in the rc well we got turned around and as were going down the highway i see my rc hauling ass the oppsite way with a 24v cummins and a 6.4 ps hot on her heels so we lose them to traffic ect they go out to race and my rc smoked bolth trucks

well we finally meet up and bs for a while and talk trucks the guys were sad they lost to a girl but said it was awesome at the same time on the way home we race the rc against the stang sevral times and the stang didnt it have a chance


so now today i was busy messing with my ladys lbz and so she took off in my lbz to go to the store ect now she runs into j and he bsing with some cummins guy and he tells this guy how he wants to get all theas trucks gathered up and go to silver and throwdown over there so my lady says j are u going to invite me being as i was the one raceing and he flat tell her no because he beat us so that pissed my lady off so his gf who was with my lady when all the raceing happned ask her who won what and she stood by j and said he beat her when he didnt even have his truck and wasnt even apart of the races

i just dont understand why people gotta lie about stuff like that trying to make him self look good


the only race me and him have done is i raced my lbz against his and yes he beat me by like 2 car lenths and im not afraid to admit it but why he had to lie about something he wasnt even apart of and his gf babysits for us and she has allways been cool but i dont know why she had to take his side now im not trying to talk up my trucks or brag about anything it just really make u mad u know sorry for the long rant guys and thank you for who ever reads this thing

Lots of people feel the need to lie to make themselves look better or more accomplished. Pretty sad.

Hell, isn't that what all these Hollywood realty shows are supporting? Lol.

There is a guy down here with a stock truck and he posts on Facebook about having all this hp, 50psi boost, etc etc and the sad part is only the people that don't know him believe it. Ridiculous. I called him out, didn't get anywhere though.

people are stupid, a guy in town in went to school with has a lmm crew cab with h&s, exhaust and 22s he swares up and down that he was neck and neck with a brand new vet on the highway doing 140+mph.He tells everyone about it and for those that don't know much about trucks it sounds impressive. just wants everyone to think hes cool.

yes sir it just sucks beacues we hooked him up with his gf and took him into our home for the holidays when he had nowhere to go helped him fix a bunch of stuff on his truck lended him tools and alot of dmax knowlege i passed on to him and then to pull this bs i dont think he would of said anything if i had been standing there but who knows

I'd let him know how my GF and me felt and if his GF and him don't have an apology for me I'd wash my hands of that. I don't have time for BS like that. Running your mouth BSing is one thing, but got have friends you can trust.

exactly. ive had a few so called friends like that. after giving them all kinds of help and getting crap like that in return, i move on. not worth dealing with it.

My good buddies and i all bs about racing and will call each other out in BS in a heart beat. there is no lieing around us lol. There have been times ive lost to them and we laugh and joke about how it made me spend a big chunk on EFI live, only to loose to my buddies cummins again. at the time, i had no idea about dropping rail pressure making you loose power and turbos being pushed way out of their map, higher elevation really affects that.

I have high standards for friendship. Theirs not much I wouldn't do for someone I call a friend. I expect the same. Someone like that isn't even worth my effort to embarrass.

As I get older, I realize what "friendship" really is, and find I have less friends than I thought, and become more grateful for the few I have.

I feel for the OP.

A lie is a lie, and no matter how fickle, lies and the act of lying is a hurtful experience. Like I said, no matter how fickle. Even worse, the fickle little lies are the most confusing and mind bending.....

why?......

cuz if someone you trust, respect and have let into your life to share your time and life experiences with can lie about something so small, what are they/would they do with something that really mattered?

Being lied to by a friend makes them a FORMER friend. Spend said friendship elsewhere. More importantly, learn from the experience. Acting like a grown-up helps too.
