Right lol. Well you have the pipe already. Make sure they plate the front side as well as box in part of the back, not just notch it and throw the pipe in. When time frees up ill call ya and see where your at.

For 4x4 drag launches, the front pieces just don't look that strong.

I have a guy here in NJ that could build you one. Or you can wait till i move and get settled in and i can build you one based off of mine.

i built mine out of 3/16 plate, Your's would be similar just not as tall. If you have a welder it's an easy thing to be walked through.

if you don't need but 2-3" just weld in half a piece of 4" pipe and plate the sides.

My buddy that has a low rider shop around here said that there are a few guys in glendale that do some real good work. Maybe give one of them a call. He is suppose to get me some numbers if your interested

Thats the plan so far, I only need about 3" more clearance. I already have a 5 foot stick of .250 wall mild steel tubing, 7"ID

I told him the frames are the same .

ah thats true

first quote refers to a 2wd and 4wd frame. second quote referes to a 1500 and 2500 frame
