Needed maybe not but look at it like this the way a lbz/lmm dual pump kit (ppe) has all the pressure both pumps feeding into the driver side rail i would think it would be a good idea to port the passenger side as well

This test was done with a single stroker pump, but I'm would imagine results would have been similar with dual CP3s.

Would passenger side be starved of fuel? When is a after market fuel pick needed?

Well beings the rail sensor is in the passenger side rail and the video showed the best rail pressure being made with just a driver side ported fitting i would say no.

I would install a sump over a pickup tube.

When installing sump does the factory pickup remain in place?

They all do a good job just get one that seals up good and reroute your return fuel line in the tank to return outside the stock pickup towards the sump :thumb:

There is no way that your fuel system is efficient through a stock pickup. To hold rail you would be lacking a little in your tuning. That may very well be why you can't push your chargers hard enough.
