Racing stripes !

i know this is a stricly preference deal and that alot of guys dont like them, but i have always liked them soooooooo

still not done yet , still need to do the grill . and need to paint the roll pan and a few other things but the back isnt going to get strips just the hood roof and grill . grill and bumper need a new coat of black, actual base clear this time instead of the cheap stuff :rofl:.

I do like the racing stripes though. Usually im not a huge fan of racing stripes but I like them on your truck. I think the gray on black is a real subtle yet noticeable combination. Usually racing stripes are a little overpowering but you did good. :thumb:

i think i agree ! all and all i am happy for painting them myself, they are not perfect a little bit of dust got into them but cant expect much more for painting them outside of a booth . it was a pain to mask off the whole truck and make shure everything was straight ! thanks for the complaments guys !

i love doing this enough...................... send the truck and parts and i wouldnt complain a bit ! if you guys havent noticed yet i am a bit of a work a holic ! now if i could just talk the wife into letting me doing any other time but when she goes to bed i would be set . usally on the weekends i sleep only a few hours a night , i was up till 4:00 am last night and up @ 8 this moring with the little one

Did you spray right over the clear on the hood, or did you redo the whole hood?
