LLY: Race tune logging

Just would like to update this thread a bit . Changed my timing as Tony posted and trimmed pulse back to 3050, still working on the tune but so far way more quiet,power seems a bit more broad and smoother . rail stays 23.5k during WOT run . Thx Ben

Anything over 28 degrees is a waste for timing unless your sled pulling at 4500 rpms with a stock motor then maybe 30 degrees.

Lower your timing to 26 under 3000rms and no more than 28 up to 3500 rpms.

Flame me if you will, but I do not agree with this at all. This may hold true for DIY tuners (trying to make their trucks live for 200k+), but for all out race tuning where every bit of rwhp/rwtq counts, saying anything over 28* "is a waste" is BS in my opinion.

X2.. on the dyno we made power beyond 28* ....with no rattle....I'm no expert by any means,I will just state personal experience.
