If all goes well, should be firing this thing for the first time tomorrow.

Basically, it started out as this http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11033

Bought it from Ken (subman) in February of last year. Probably should have started the project in March  but wasn't exactly sure what to do with it. I was going to just make an 11 second fun truck. Those plans changed about 50 times in my mind and with some prodding with people like Ken. All the work except for the trans, turbo kit, and tuning is being done here locally in the Portland, OR area.

So now it's this:

2003 LB7 4x4 reg cab:
Pretty nasty twins from Nathan
Tuned by Rob
Carillo Rods
TTS forged pistons, stock bore 15.5:1 compression
ARP 625 Head studs
ARP Main Studs
O-ringed and filled block
100% over F1 injectors
Socal Cam
2x stock LB7 CP3s
Stock heads with Socal hardware

Big Dipper Trans
1055 converter

8pt cage, just in case..... although I don't plan on going that fast just yet
5 gallon fuel cell under the bed routed to factory fill.

Should be fun. Hope it starts and runs

Don't have any dyno goals. My goal is to run the thing 10.50 on the dot and have it hold together and then see.

Projected quarter times was my next question. Subscribed to this. Gotta love a clean reg cab...especially a clean and built reg cab with a hot set of twins. Nice.

Congrats Jerry, looking forward to watching it run down the strip. Are you putting a battery in the front so you can run S.S.?

do you not need to have a stock fuel tank to run SS?
