Gauging interest in setting a new goal for my next motor.

Who has gone 9.99 or better with a single cp3 and full frame dmax? Has it been done? I will be using a 12mm stroker from Mark when the time comes. Air will be billet 75 over billet 88mm.
Not sure on injector size yet, but I aim to have the race weight 5000 lbs with me in the truck.

I will be removing the complete dash and bed. Cutting the outside bed skins off and making a frame to support the skins. I didn't think long beds were heavy until I pulled it off with a friend the other day. Has to be around 350lbs.

Do you get extra prizes at the race for having less turbos or pumps? Why not just put on what it takes to get to the stripe quickest and call it a day? Never understood the refusal to add pumps or turbos just to be the quickest single something truck.

Less places to leak, a lot easier to work on, less wiring to fail, and the same price.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't asking about the potential benefits of one pump vs. two. Or one turbo vs. two. I was saying I don't understand running one vs two just to say it's potentially the fastest single something truck...

And more likely to fail.... A 12mm pump has about a sheet of paper clearance between cam and housing internally... Doesn't take much ware to lock up the pump. 2 stock pumps are far cheaper

How many exergy 12m pumps have you personally see failed?

A dual cp3 kit with extra cp3 is around 1800ish. Plus another stocker without a core. 1000.00. So almost the same price as a 12
