Interesting. I always end up with the .067 left over and come out in spec.
Also, if you put the bellhousing front down on a bench, you can slide the input shaft through the back of it to hold it while you work on the rotating assembly.
If I'd have paid a little moreattention to this part it would have saved me some hassle. It was a balancing act on my chest and my damn beard kept getting in the way. I didn't want to bore a hole in the bench. For some reason it didn't click when I read it last night.
While I'm thinking about it is there a source for the internal harness that's not 300 bucks plus? When I did my shift kit last year the plug broke at the crimp. I soldered it back together and it's worked fine but since then a ear or 2 has broken off the round main plug and while I'm here I might as well replace it.
