Push luck fuel hose

What are you guys running for pushlock line? I need some but dang its pricey!! Looking at 836 -8 from parker since its local. Can i use the cheap low pressure dayco (for example) with a push lock fitting and still look fancy? I dont want any hose that the ends wont be covered up by the 'hose end covers' from the an fittings. If i was only doing a few feet id go with the best stuff, but i need like 15 foot and only running like 12psi

I dont know what u consider expensive?
if you are going long distance, I would use ss tubing.

836 is high temp, you can save some money going with the 801 hose.

I wouldn't use cheap stuff. Going to have a larger bend radius and probably dry rot/crack sooner. Are you sure the DAYCO you are looking at is for diesel?

Also, you need to make sure the DAYCO is a true push lock. The Parker won't require hose clamps, but if you use the wrong hose it may not grip the barbs as well.

Its still cheaper to use the regular rubber fuel line, i used the A N female barbed fittings from Jeggs they have a colar that covers the hose end.I also sleeved it with a gloss black thermal sleeve in the motor compartment so heat from the engine and turbos wouldnt affect it and it dressed up the plain rubber hose a bit.

I bought 801 parker hose for 2.50 a foot. It wasn't too bad, the 836 is 4.90 and what they originally told me I needed for diesel fuel.

I pay 2.70/ ' for braided hose that is teflon lined. Why is is so expensive?
