but isn't part of the problem the actual ball joints too? my friend broke his stock ball joint and bent the crap out of the shaft.

I would get the bigger tie rods since you have bigger tires too. I've seen the ball joint break too

i would be so bummed and feel like a fool if that happend to me at the track! wouldn't want to give the ford guys something to laugh at

Ford guys usually cry at the track....antifreeze steam can be hard on the eyes...:rofl:
