So if you had to set up a lb7 for Stock class and you had to set it up what all would you do? I'm talking anything hitch-tires-engine mods and so on, just trying to learn a little here

bfg all terrains, 60 over injectors and a modded pump. I would look into a hitch too, I have a bigchevyhitch, but its bending, maybe the new ones have more bracing? Otherwise I like it, lots of ppl run them. I would weld your front diff too (or get a locker) I wouldn't do anything to the turbo either. You'll eventually get caught

True, roughly how much of a gain would that offer with porting and polishing? And yeah I have heard you move the hitch as far forward as you can get it and solid suspension stops

Like stated above, 60 overs, modded pump, front locker, and good tires. Sts seem to do good around md. I'm from md an pull there but they would be my tire of choice. Most guys running mapa have stuck chargers as the rules say.

What all do you do about the front end this is what I have heard lower to get the cv angles right, and take the torsion dampener pads out install a heavy bolt in its place and what about the hitch there is something more then just moving it forward?

Just porting/polishing the IHI with the stock compressor wheel I got 30 more horse power. I was surprised to see that much of an increase and how much faster it spooled.

How much was ported in the stock cover to achieve that power? Did you just basically smooth the inside to a slick finish or was there much more machine work involved? 30 horse is crazy
