Pulling lb7 out with trans attached?

Has anybody pulled a lb7 out with the trans on it still? Will be on a extended cab stock height truck using a cherry picker. Has blown head gaskets and broke flexplate so going to go ahead and do a mild build.

I have done it, but it is real tight and need to tilt it pretty good to get out.

Decided to leave trans in truck and will just brace up the bell housing with a piece of square tubing across the tbars.

I've done it before. But cab was off lol. I imagine you could drop diff down a bit to help out with the birthing process

You either take the lower oil pan or the turbo off to gain more room. IIRC, GM recommended the lower pan. Weird, I know.

Pulled mine out of my donor that way with no problems. Left pan on, turbo, all of it. I did take the transfer case off, but that was it. Came right out with zero issues.
