PTE Rebuilds

Does anyone have experience with having Precision rebuild your turbo versus an outside shop?

PTE said rebuilds start at $250 and will be complete in 7-10 days which has me leaning towards them.

My Garrett gt5541r was rebuilt/refreshed by them prior to me buying it. Zero issues from it.

I had ours inspected at the end of the season and it was perfect but charged $100 for parts/labor to reassemble. It was still under warranty too

Ok thanks guys, looks like my comp wheel touched down once or twice

Just was wondering if an outside rebuilder was worth the hassle. (turbo is a few years old so way out of warranty)
