My vote goes to turning this into kurts "1000 hp stock bottom end motor" ......

You are then restricted to three converter to flex plate bolts and you can check your front ujoints inside the console. Spelling will not be graded. We figure if you can spell, you can read and you would have read something about checking your front ujoint in your console is not a good thing.
Where does the 2nd tank go, where in ohio are you, and any pics of the tank setup?
Between the frame rails behind the axle. It's 23 gallon/ I think the transfer pump is on top of it that pushes fuel to the front tank.

Good luck with the new project Jeff. After you spray it to death , will it stay an LB7 or get swapped?

My ton was and it has standard width rails. There was a wider axle option though; Rails might have been different on those.
new truck
I put a new water pump on the truck and this thing runs very good. It runs and drive like it has 50k. I might have to rethink this and have a new shop truck. Jeff
