Valve springs showed up today. Looks like my 4th of July weekend will be spent at the shop assembling my engine.

Thanks Chavis!

Pretty sure he's saving what's left of those for a certain manufacturer's butt hole:D

Yea I'm pretty sure!

He had a ton of work into this truck and I like how he did everything

Good luck with the truck.
Seems like you have a solid foundation, minus rods of course. :hello:

The "rimz" not going offset crazy like the last truck.

20x10 -24 flavor.

Still up in the air on tires it'll be a toyo I've decided. Might go 305/50 st2 or might go 285/55 at2 10ply..

Hahahaha I know on the rods.

My last truck was lowered with no torsions and 20x12 -44.. Slight fender mods required

Nah wheels are exciting

It'll be even more exciting when a stock rod comes thru the block and spews oil and pieces of engine all over those new wheels, too. :roflmao:

j/k Corbin (thats the "C"?) Happy for you that you found a "new" truck. Who (username) owned it before you?

Yep the c is corbin.

Delong1 was the previous owner when it was running last.. He poked a couple crowers out the side I think.

He had two separate failures didn't he? Yeah the crowers made some windows.

You may have already told me this, but your going to run lb7 rods and pistons? Why not try to get a set of lbz rods? Iirc the lbz rods are stronger.

Yes lb7 rods.. I have a set of lbz rods in a box. However the machine work to run them isn't worth the time. If I'm going to spend the money on machine work to balance the rods it'll be a good set of rods lol
