If you buy it from us or another vendor on here. It usually comes with a tune or 2.

If your gonna just play some and tow alot a transgo jr shift kit and a PPE standard tuner and a FASS or air dog lift pump will be all you will ever need cause the 225 tune on the PPE will through a code when you run your fuel rail dry, I had this setup for about a year worked great for towing and works real good street racing from light to light but EFI Live guys will pull away from you when they hit 3rd gear.
But for me I got this drag racing and sled pulling bug and went to EFI Live to get the max power out of truck but efi live can cost alot and be very confussing when you start out but PPE is pretty simple to figure out just plug and go

:exactly::yup:

You dyno'd that with just a Trans-go Jr and the tranny lives.... Holy crap, I was worried about a TOW TUNE :eek::rofl:
That's awesome man, congratulations! :hello:

I have street raced in 2wd with it too so far so good my favorite race was agent a 98 dodge with 220 horse injecters 68 mm turbo and a souped up p pump and i beat him by 5 truck lengths and his face was priceless when ever I showed him all I had was a lift pump and efi live tuning and everything else stock, but I dont leave set on that tune I turn it back down whenever I get done racing and im gonna build the trans in october anyways so I like testing the allison and its one hell of a transmission
