Ok, im a new duramax owner and ive read till i cant see strait about what kind of tuners do what. my truck is a late 06 lbz duramax. what would be a good tuner?
sounds good! . ive seen on ebay where you can buy the "shift improvement kits"... they worth the 80 dollars or do you know?
alright. ill definately check into that. and the more i read ill probably go with the efi live. ive played with some tuners on my gas rides and they are ok. i just didnt want to buy something and it be not worth the time or energy, or blow up my truck.. im sure once i ge tinto it a little ill ge tthe bug too lol.. but i really do appreciate all the help so far!
I have a 06 LBZ with EFI Live tuning and a 95 FASS lift pump, stock mod air intake and a transgo allison jr and I made 517 horsepower and 885 torque, Lol well get ready then cause that bug bites hard and doesnt let go you better get EFI Live Tuning, Good Lap Top, FASS or Air Dog Lift Pump, Tie Rod Sleeves Conitgo Braces, Build Your Transmission, and thats to just get started
I ran just the transgo Jr and a 1057 suncoast and a ppe hot +2 et and 585 and 11xx and ran 12.99 @ 107 for awhile.I would go with Efi Live or PPE more the PPE if you do not want to play with the laptop just load and go.You dyno'd that with just a Trans-go Jr and the tranny lives.... Holy crap, I was worried about a TOW TUNE
That's awesome man, congratulations! :hello:
