As soon as the temperature gets below freezing, sometimes when the truck shifts, it's like it pops into neutral and as long as I just let go of the throttle and press again it catches. Sometimes I will lose reverse and the indicator light just flashes. Happens in drive on occasion and the truck is dead in the water until I clear the codes then it's fine again for a while. Transmission was built about four years ago about 60k miles ago. A stage V PPE kit was put in. Am I looking at a total rebuild or the NBSU switch problem??
Problems only in cold weather??

When it happens again, find a better scanner. There's more trans codes. P0700 is the TCM requesting the engine light
I had a issue when it got cold out, when the fluid was cold, it would limp itself, can't remeber the code and chased it for a while eventually got fed up and pulled the valve body apart and it was a cracked c shift solenoid. Like Robby said, a code will help more.
Mine was doing the same exact thing my tcase was shot i also dropped the vavle body and cleaned it At the same time and it completely went away.
Out of all the tech calls I take; less than 10% of the people bothered to check their fluid. :dontknow:
