Was wondering how much it would run to set up a 366 on my lb7. Basically buying a pre-made pedestal and supplying the rest or would it be cheaper to just buy a kit? If so who has the best deals on a kit? Or maybe does anyone have a used kit for sale for a decent price? Thanks guys

It all depends on how cheap you get each part & your time frame. If you're in a hurry then you'll spend as much as a kit. If you don't really care when you get all the parts then you'll get better deals.

As Ne-max stated, all the little parts can add up & bit you if you're not careful, haha.

For an lb7, i would just buy a pedestal, turbo, have a local hydrailic make you an oil supply from the side of the block. a plug for the valley, a merchant drain and buy 2 45 4" pipes for an intake and be done.

Yeah I'm not in a hurry to do it so I can buy piece by piece. I have a stock trans so I know the 66 will take care of that so while buying pieces at a time or finding a inexpensive kit I can save for the tranny build.

If you don't wanna get to crazy, I've heard a lot of good things about the Duramax Tuner stealth 64. Drop in replacement good up to around 600. Not saying a 366 would be bad just giving you more options.
