That's just it. you have to look and see what the avg price in your area is. Because somebody giving you an answer in Alabama would be way off.;)

Or someone in Arizona. This is absolutely correct. You need to take into account the situation around your area. My truck prices will not be anywhere near your truck prices. I have many times been tempted to get myself a flatbed and start buying trucks here and taking them back east to be sold. I could make a very solid living doing it if I could stand to be in my truck all day long.

For example, I bought my old LB7 crew cab long bed loaded with every option for $9500. I ran it hard for a year and sold it for $17K. Granted I put a few thousand in it just in toys but I still cleared several thousand. I could do this all day long if I had the time and resources.

I live in AL, and was recently at several auctions.

Here's the skinny. DMAXs are HIGH right now! I witnessed three 100K plus trucks in the 01-03 range that were in decent shape (loaded, but used) go for 19K +.

I would think prices would be the same all over the SE. The way I see it, the only way a buyer is going to find a deal, is by finding someone who doesn't know what they have.
