With aftermarket chargers, the drain pipe is never a perfect fit. It can be really hard to get the surfaces flat. Someone really needs to make an aftermarket flex piece that is easier to install and remove.

I've had the drain pipe leak more than a couple times.

Pat here is the line I got from Trent very simple and from what I could tell the flange seemed to fit flush with the plate

Rear main leaks on our engines are fairly rare.

Turbo oil leaks are REALLY common.

thought i had a bad rear main and then found it to be the stock turbo drain was just finger tight thank god i found the wear in the shaft to make me wanna replace it and found the leak

i would pull the turbo and reinstall triple checking everything before i did a rear main

what's strange is I looked the best I could and didn't see any oil around the flange but I guess I could pull it off again... its getting easy to pull the turbo off now

Nick, get some dye to put in the oil and clean all the oil up as best you can around the back of the engine. grab a black light and start searchin, that will tell you exactly where its comin from.
