I accidentally erased my tune. Now I can't figure out how to put it back on. I'm very new to this Duramax tuning world. I bought the truck with the tunes already on it, so I don't know what the heck I'm doing.

How did you "erase" them?

I would say call him but he's to good to talk to customers over the phone. So email is your only choice. This gives a good chance to switch tuners. :thumb:

Did you tune over the tune in the ECM on the truck with something or erase them on the Autocal? Even if he erased it off the Autocal it will still be locked or linked to Kory's V2. What are you doing in EFI Live explorer? trying to take the tunes off the Autocal to look at them HMMMM??? lol. (not that you could do that) unless you are loading new tunes there's no reason to be messing with EFI Live explorer. you can't erase them with just the auto cal anyway. it would have to be connected to a computer and efi live explorer opened up.

I was trying to put a different level tune on my truck. I followed the directions on the autocal instructions. I think those instructions are for when your first tuning the truck. Witch I didn't know?

If Kory spent the time to talk to every customer on the phone he wouldn't get any tunes written. His business is going through a lot of growth and he's trying to keep turnaround time to a minimum. I think email works out pretty nice and they are answered quickly. :thumb:

Give PPEI an email or call and I'm sure they can help ya out.

Other tuners do all the time. Sometimes its easier to explain things over the phone. You are right. He is to busy for his own good.

Email Kory and have him resend your tunes and load them on your Autocal and done deal. Other then that you don't have much choose other then to send your Autocal back to ppei
