Guys,

just got a ppe lift pump. Can I just bolt this to the frame and fit the existing lines around the pump? Or do these require new line from the tank to the injection pump?

my pump job looks like its straight out of Compton but hell it works, cut the hard feed line and spliced in the ppe with rubber fuel lines

Dont cut any lines!!!!!! Get a quick disconnect tool from an auto parts store. Disconnect the feed line at the sender and the line above the fuel cooler. Run a new line from the sender to the pump, then from the pump to the cooler.

When you say sender you mean..? And the way you are saying this it sounds like you run it before the cooler? I thought the fuel goes through the cooler before the returning to the tank

Just get under your truck and look where the lines run. I've done probably 5 or 6 PPE pumps like this. Sender, pickup, whatever you wanna call it. It doesnt run through the cooler, the line you want is above it. Like I said, just get under there and look.

I think I have a pic somewhere on my PC......The second pic is the line above the cooler. If you lay on the drivers side under the tank, you can reach up above the cooler and disconnect the stock line.

I still cut my lines but I used those compression fittings. Then after everything was done installed a temporary clear fuel line at the fuel filter housing to verify the suction side was pulling air. Hope your pump last longer than mine did.
