I am looking for a legit shop to install my shift kit. Anyone in the DFW worth paying to do the job right the first time? I am very mechanically inclined just scared shitless to mess with the tranny.

havent upgraded my sig
2007 classic 2500hd cc 4x4

:doh: haha sorry guys i didnt see that, if its a 6spd then its easy and helps but needs to be lower miles bc once its slipped it wont help, how many miles?

my buddy just put one in his 06. hes never done one, jsut did a bit of searching on line and had it in and done within a half day. i wouldnt fret to jump in and put it together

Seems like to me in 1 year there have been about 8 "DIESEL" shops pop up in this area. I haven't heard one good thing about any of them. Wish I could find someone locally I could trust to do the work I am not comfortable doing myself.

I have a good friend with a shop in waco. Has done several transgo jrs. His lb7 is on the cover of diesel world. Big Red

What's the name of his shop. I had a guy in Georgetown with a shop named dirty "something" diesel that was gonna put it in and buy my pistons but I can't get ahold of him now.
