Ever since the install there has been a squeak. Thought it was the belt. Tlaked to Bob and did a little test and it seemed like it was an idler pulley, Swaped pulley out and nop the squeak is back. Tried belt conditioner, nope, tried wd-40, nope, tried bar of soap, nope. Nothing is working. Now I am in San Diego and all of a sudden its squeaking like CRAZY!!! Its driving me insane... Any Ideas? Upon looking at the pump from the side it looks like the pulley is "cocked" up little. There is noo adjustment, well not enough to make it appear good or the squeak go away.

The squaek/squill is very loud, lol.

I had a noise on mine also. When I pulled the motor I noticed that the belt was rubbing on the back side of the tensioner. Underside were you can't see it. Then I noticed a little rub mark on the belt intself. It is hitting some casting flashing so out with the grinder when it goes back together. You may check that on yours. Jeff

My idler bearing is bad in the ppe one I got I have to get the part # and get a bearing, also need to replace the factory ones to, Before the motor went I had one I thought was bad dealer installed a new alternator and it came back a few miles later,After the putting the motor back in I heard the pulleys like crazy turned out I screwed up on the belt install and went around the wrong one and was to tight.

We have had his truck in 3 times to remedy the squeak, the mount has to be the issue, we can only move it about an 1/8" in any direction and have tried adjusting it about 15 times... The mount looks to be out of square, but there isn't enough adjustment to move it any further than it is.

We installed the new idler pulley last Tuesday, the squeak went away for about 3 minutes at idle and then as soon as Mike stepped on the peddle to leave, the squeak came back.

Can you remove a bolt and install a washer under the bracket to offset?

I believe so, but that is not going to get in parrallel with the other pullies (sp). The pump looks like it leans back and to the right if you look at it from the front so the washer would fix the lean, but not the straightness.

Do you have another bracket for the cp3? it must be out of whack?

there was another member that had the same issue with aa hellfast kit

like Dale said I would talk to Dan and see if he can send you one( bracket ) and try it

worst case i could send you mine if you want to borow it:)

Mine did once and shredded the belt after 60 miles,it just took a small adjustment to make it right:)

From what Chad has said....Im thinking the bracket? It dont take much to put them out of alingment
