Ok i have my fuel lines bead blasted and ready to powder coat (paint wasnt worth a shit) when a friend told me you cant heat the lines up. He says there is a coating on the insied of the lines that will deteriorate during the heat cycles of the coating.

Is there any truth to this????? I have never heard of this but before i coat them i need to know for sure. I dont want to be buying new fuel lines!!!!

I hope not because mine are powder coated.

How long have they been coated? Have you had any problems?

What happened to the paint? Heat just made it come off?

Paint was chipping and would flake off if you looked at it wrong. Not sure why i bead blasted them then self etching primer then painted them.

I cant immagine it would hurt but i figured i would check before i baked them.

All the machine work is done, I'm going to Danville the 16-17 to build it with Mark. I know the engine will be done but I'm re-doing the frame on the truck. I'm trying to have everything done in time for the Indy race.

I mine are powder coated and sitting in the spare bedroom waiting to be put back in the truck. I never heard of any type of coating inside the lines.
