In a year I've had it I took the lift off got a new frame suspension steering wheels tires window tint de badged some gauges efi live air dog system and got rid of the cow catcher off the front. Long way from what I want it to be but a long way from what it was. Just need a bigger bank account :(

So far so good. Idk how long there gonna last tho. I've had them on there for about 8 months and I've already lost a good bit of tread. But then again that's when I first got the efi on it so that might have something to do with it haha:D

Up to you. They don't look bad. I generally don't like steps because it makes the truck look lower but yours are tucked up tight to the body so they look ok to me. Do you use them or just for looks?

I fell asleep driving last June...it wasnt pretty this is the 1st time I've publicly posted it....I have a million photos of all the body work fixed. It's amazing we did it all it was time consuming

Damn! That is carnage. I thought when I fell asleep it was bad. I took an island and sign post dead centre of my old truck. Had me airborne. Woke up on the other side of the highway and had no idea where I was. Minimal damage though: front bumper, grille, hood, cross support under the truck, front passenger side tire and wheel, and a twisted driveline from (best we can figure) stomping the brake when I was woken in the air. Truck destroyed 3 transmissions after that so I sold it and got my max.

She's a gorgeous truck, and I'm glad you got her all fixed up again. I'm sure all the time and effort was well worth it.

My truck looks the same as it did when I bought it in 08. The only things I added were PYOs, tint and got rid of the tow mirrors. Under the hood is a totally different story though.

Then

Now

I'm not big on appearance mods at this point. I just want to go fast in a truck that looks like it's owned by a grandpa.

It's my sleeper :thumb:

One day I'll do some tires/wheels and a drop though. 20's should look just about right ;)

No I'm 6'4" I got them when the truck had a lift on it an ppl complained about it sitting too high. I'm the same way I think it makes it look as it sits real low

Yeah. The stainless is a nice accent though I think. But I also dislike how it's harder to clean the rockers.

Day i bought it from my dad in June of 2006. he bough it new. Truck only had a drop in AFE filter and an edge w/ att and 85k on the clock
Picture003.jpg

Two months later i lifted it, put the wheels and tires on, and debaged it. i told myself i was suppose to leave it alone right here. yeah right :D
