Chris I was just on Coastal Plains website and if I'm not mistaken you got to have a cage to run faster than 13.50 1/4 or 8.25 1/8th now? Am I losing my mind or is this correct? I got this info off there forum.

Not sure were you saw that on there site.

Yup, just need the LLY rails, injector fuel lines, and the balancer line to connect the 2 rails. Also need to swap out the fuel pressure sensor from the LBZ rail to the LLY rail.

does the lbz pressure sensor read the pressure diff than the lly...Just wondering if you could "trick" the computer

What's the difference in the two rails. Why would you prefer one over the other?

On a twin cp3 setup on the LLY truck its the only setup that feeds both rails with a line from each cp3. On the LLY fuel rails you can remove the fuel rail ports and fittings and port the rail out biggier on both rails. On the LBZ rail if you look down inside of the rail there little nipples coming down from each line and you can not port the rail large because of those. You would also have to mix match you twin cp3 kit when you order it to work with what your doing to get the right feed line for the HP line and the right controler box.

x2 Dustin at Diesel Addiction ordered the kit for me. PPE sent everything needed. The pullies on the LBZ kit are different from the LLY, PPE sent the LBZ pullies, the LBZ controller, and the LLY fuel line kit. Everything went smooth, just had to look at both sets of directions.

What is the procedure for porting the rail? Is it as easy as drilling out the orifice where the fittings screw onto the rail? Or does it have to be milled or extrude honed or???? I am about to remove both intake runners to clean up the entire intake tract. This might be a good time to look into doing something to the rails.

Your fuel supply fittings can be drilled out like a race valve there .125 on the driver side and for guys that are running twin cp3's do there pass side to .090 . You do not want to go overboard on a stock single cp3 truck with a big tune it could hurt you. ON the LLY since you dont have the nipples on the inside of the rails you can get a nice long indexed bit and port the rail out have to ask Dustin or ask Chris what size I forget what thread it was in and what size he used to do it. I also think he did each injector line port coming off the rail to the injector fuel line Chris chime is when you get a chance.

But if your running a single cp3 and the 4094 vvt in your sig and you just installed a airdog once you get efi live on it you will not need to do this. You have enough to damage your motor already after that.

Right now I have a single stock CP3. But, I am planning on installing an Arson III from Wicked.....errrr....Motorsport Diesel. I just thought that while I am there I might as well do the extra step. The rails are already off anyway. So you think I should take a pass on the porting. What do you think about the ported rail fittings from T&C. Good idea or not? Would I see any benefit?

I would pass on porting the rails. You can do your own rail fittings.

Dustin will have the chime in on the size. I know he had a machine shop match them to the inside diameter of the fuel lines. Had the rails done all the way through and on each injector feed. When I set them side by side to the stock LBZ rails there was a very noticeable difference in size of the holes.
