popped the fuel code , Race Valve the Anser?

well i through the infamous 1093 code the other night pullin. I have been just fine with my shim kit but i just switched tuning to ppe. seems to demand more fuel. Does anyone think this is the reason for throwin the code or is the spring wearin more. i am installin the race valve today is this a good idea or no ?

with that tune youll def. need a lift pump.

With the shims there is still a safety factor.... But yes short answer the race valve will most likely cure the problem.

i never limped with that tune after the lift pump and i didnt get a race valve till after that.

I have heard of a couple of issues with the race valve not properly sealing from PPE. I have had better luck with the shims....
