That is bad ass for sure.....Man truck is nice on the eyes as well. love the regular rims on the dually IMHO its hard to beat that look. I agree on the T/C unlock, i have seen many 4th to 3rd downshifts and they are mildly rough....notice when coming off the line it starts lighting real slow and then makes a decent jump....do you guys think it really lights that hard or is something helping it. still don't want to take anything from the truck becuase it is amazing sounding/running

Sounds like he is bouncing of the rev limiter then shifting. That would explain why the 3-4 shift is so hard.

no, at like 24 seconds in before it really lights it comes off the line smooth and slow then all of a sudden it just lunges real hard and takes off screaming.....Like i said could be thousands of things don't want to take away anything from him or the truck just haven't seen one do that before

The guys who work on that truck are some of the best in the business. The truck is well thought out in every aspect and set-up.

Every time I need some motivation to get my diesel fever up I re-play a video of one of his pulls with the volume turned up. But nothing compares to seeing/hearing it in person.

Do you have a video of your hook Rob? I saw you were in the top 10 which is great for still working out the bugs in your setup. Especially against that 2.8 crowd.

I was 12th, ill have to find my video, to be honest my truck was a turd lol. I can tell you this, i sent my charger back, cause i put my old 4202 on, and put a 2.8 bushing on it, without changing up any tuning, i gained 150hp on the dyno, and cleared up the fuel the s480 wouldnt begin to clear up completly. As a matter of fact we could clear up 400us more pulse with the 42. I didnt exactly beleive the dyno until i took it out on the street, that little gt42 clobbers that s480. I wish i would have kept the gtx42, so ED is going to do some things different, and there to going send it back for us to try, mean while im looking at chargers, i thought i could get a cheaper one, and still run good, but it looks like spending the big bucks is the only way to go.

That 3.0 chevy named obsessed looked pretty cool up close, but i thought they could have done something better with the air intake, and w/a intercooler. Wes picked too big of a gear, and Kevin Coles dodge put the azz whoopin on everyone. I heard it has a mean charger on it, something different, i thought about trying one out, but we'll see.:D

What size turbine is your ED charger? I am assuming it is a 96mm T6 housing. I am running a 2.8ED charger with an 87mm turbine and T4 housing seems to run really strong! My boost is in the high 40's and drive pressure in the mid to high 50's. Let me know if you want to compare setups. I'd be happy to help if I can. -Curtis

Didn't get to make it up to the pull unfortunately, but glad to see Craig's truck was back in first in the 2.6 class
