Plasti dip question

I want to plasti dip my rear bumper but it has the back up sensors is it going to affect them if I plasti over them. Have anyone else done this? Any ideas would be great.

Just peel the plasti dip off the sensor after you paint. Should cut itself without tearing.

I have painted them before when replacing them in factory color matched bumpers, I would imagine they would be fine but not positive as plasti dip is a little thicker than paint.

Edit-the sensors can be popped out from the back pretty easy also.

They won't work properly if you plasti-dip over them.

I'd get some round blue "dot tape", place the proper size over the sensors, spray away and pull the tape when the plastidip is wet
