Hypertherm and Thermal Dynamics have both worked well for us. The Hypertherm is easier to find tips for locally though. If you decide to buy from Airgas let me know. We get a hell of a deal there normally.

I ended up purchasing a Hypertherm Powermax 30 XP. I got it for $1250 shipped to my door. I will give an update on it once I get to use it some.

Updating my old thread! I have finally used my new plasma cutter (Hypertherm powermax 30XP) and am very happy with how it cuts. Have cut up to 1/2" with it, but you have to go pretty slow. It cut's 1/4" like butter!!
