Hmm, good to know:thumb:

I dont recommend it its always best to do it right , but i am not the only one who has done it , not many will admit to it though. but i haven't seen any signs of blow by ,and my motor only had 70k on it when i tore it down .

We reused Josh's rings also with no issues. I dont see a problem with reusing the rings but I want to torque hone my block so reusing is out of the question:(

Well there goes that idea:( I really had no intentions of re-using my rings but accordiing to the builder the stock bore OEM rings are on back order:confused: I just want to get my engine back ASAP but I dont want to do it half a$$ed either... Any luck on finding any Henry??? :D

Also Tom found them local for around that price not sure were.
Best I have found is 330 area for Mahles.

Johnson's Speed Warehouse in Lansing, MI. Worked out to $307.40 with tax. Mahle OEM rings, standard bore.

Are these prices for the entire set, or just one set of rings per piston? Sorry for the silly question. At the dealer, I was told one set of stock rings was 160 dollars. I would love to get an entire set of new rings while the motor is apart but I can not afford the price the dealer wants.
