They are, so are a lot of other bolts people reuse

Most only reuse the balancer bolt and cam bolt.

The TTY bolts others reuse do not hold there main caps. The stock bolts only get reused to check clearence then they get removed for the final tq with the new ones.

Stock eng. Danville 68mm, 50% inj. Modded pump. Dyno'ed 765hp. Engine started ticking on 2nd pass of the day. Ran 3 more runs with the last run being the fastes run ever (10.6@126) . Took engine apart and all 8 rods were bent and 3 rods were bent so bad the pistons were hiting the crank on the down stroke

No, you didn't. I think he was just too busy, it was right at the off season where he had all the track engines in. I'm not too worried about it since he said it would be fine. I could have changed them easily, the oil pan wasn't on when I got it but I trusted him. Sorry for the hijack
