Just an FYI, low EGTs don't necessarily mean cool piston temps. What it can mean is that more heat is being absorbed by the combustion chamber (piston, cylinder wall, head) and less is going out the exhaust.

~6K. When I was towing more often it was around 5K.

I figured out why you crack piston. Dmax gods are punishing you for SAS'ing it. :

We had had 2 LMMs pop pistons that we haul buildings with. One was running a 40 horse PPE and at 55k popped one. the other one had 160k and was running a small Live tune. We pull the guts out of them tho.

Big failing... Oh well. Finger pistons? Wish it lasted till December because I would have just used some of my bonus on a SoCal motor...

Fingers Pistons are holding up well so far in mine... haven't really turned up the power quite yet though.
