Couple weeks so far and it is doing fine. Pulled the diff cover off after 200 miles to check it out and make sure it was good. Back lash was still perfect and no abnormal metal in the oil. Still haven't tried any donuts yet, but it's a wild ride in a straight line with both tires kicking out at 80+mph.

I just went through this the end of last year Mike. The G-80 failed just like every other one I have ever owned. I left my pinion in place and replaced the carrier with a Grizzly and everything seemed good just as every other one I had done. A couple months later I was getting a bangs and jumps coming from the rearend, I jacked it up turned the driveshaft and everything seemed fine but continued to Buck and jump when I would drive it. I popped the cove and found the rear pinion bearing had spit out its cage and the cage was hitting chewed up between the gears. It turned out I had failed to remove all of the G-80, parts of it had stowed away between the pinion bearings.:(
