General Motors made about 1100 EV-1 electric cars. All were leased, and all but 3 were crushed. The rest of the complete ones are in museums. About 40 "made inoperative" were donated to colleges, illegal to register.
Few know that GM also made 500 S-10EV pickups that used the EV-1 driveline. However, 60 of them were not crushed. There are probably 30 in existence today.
There is a real one on Craig's List.
Note: A normal Tech 2 won't work with these. It required a special corporate re-flash for the EV-1 powertrain. There is one of these in Ramona California for $500. You would have to know somebody in GM management to get a S-10EV flash.
