Well my $50 straight pipe took a shit on me after 5 years. I think I'm going with a MagnaFlow 17982 5" Stainless straight piped. Since it seems to be the only one that comes with band clamps.

My real issue is I'm picky on how the pipe exits looks and would love it if some of yall could post some picture on what they look like.
Thanks

This is the best I have when it was turned down a touch... I decided it looked better flat and adjusted the tail section back level with the bumper. I will try and grab you a pick of it flat to.

One other thing. Every place my pipe had a hanger welded on has broken at the pipe. The hanger is stainless cold roll and welded right to the side of the main pipe, no wrapping for support. I have had to take flatstrap and cover the tear then re-attach the hanger to the flat strap. I have had mine for 7-8 years now so hopefully they have done better at supporting the main pipe.

The sound is awesome, no drone, quite cruising down the road But nice and throaty when you get on it.

Hey burn down thanks thats what I wanted to see. If ya could snap one from the side. It looks pretty close to the rear tire and since I have mud flaps I might have some interference.

Also any interference with an over sized spare tire?

Thanks for the other suggestions to guys. I look into them too.

I would take a picture of mine but I did not add the tail pipe section to exit the rear of the bed... :D

However I will say of all the systems I have installed magnaflow has the best quality and fitment of the more inexpensive systems!

My camera is at work. Im back on shift thursday though... I run a 305 55R 20 spare and it is very close but still has some slight clearance.

Brian, did you have any problems ripping the spring hangers off of the pipe?

Edit: I just found the camera haha. Ill snap some after I pick the kid up from school.

Wish I had went with magnaflow or mbrp. The diamond eye I got exits around where the factory one did and I absolutely hate it. I've been thinking about heating it up and bending it more towards the side lol.

In the picture below I have had to weld strap around the pipe to help support it... The cold roll just ripped out of the side, very cheaply built... All three hangers have done this...

Did you ever try and contact them about the warranty? IIRC they have a lifetime, but if its just going to tear again might as well fix it yourself.

The clearance around the spare is more of an issue for me, but I imagine that going to be a issue with most 5" systems.

Did yall cut the 5" pipe back to make room for your tips? I don't plan on running a tip and don't want to find out the pipe doesn't stick out to the fender at least.

No I didn't call them... I could see what it needed and spent an hour pounding out some strap and mig welding it in place. I should have called and bitched I guess.

I didn't trim for the tip.

How big of a spare do want to run? That is 33" tire.

I also have the 5 in magna flow kit. I just slid my tip over the 5in, I did cut some off to allow for the longer tip. I don't like the standard 6in 12 long tips. They look odd and stubby. Mines a 6in 18in long tip.It did stick out enough without a tip if I can remember tho if you didn't wanna run a tip. my kit is also 7 yrs old now, put it on my truck right away. I think I ordered the kit when I left the dealer ordering the truck. Lmao.
Anyway, My hangers have also ripped or cracked some. I pretty much did exact thing burn down did. I didn't call either about the warranty stuff. Didn't even think about it.
Few pics are in my garage if you wanna check them out. I will say, after my roll pan I'm not liking the exhaust anymore. Still haven't decided what route I'm Goin to go now. Might just do a turn down and hide it under the truck.
