its been tested over and over. if youre running enough boost that you need studs, you best have a built motor

Very nice, depending on how well the modded CP3 works you should be able to hit 11s easily - the A5K moves plenty of air to do it - even in T3 form.

I added the RDL headers as well and with some more tuning it was feeling alot stonger in the top end - I'm fairly sure I would have been very low 12s if not higher 11s if I got it on the track. But I became an example to prove Reno's point - my bottom end let go before a head gasket on stock head bolts. If it hadn't that day or the next day at the track, the dual fuelers sitting on my floor would have done it in no time.

What do you run for a cp3?

Newly, did you mod it or did you have it done?..also, are you monitoring drive pressure on the new up-pipes and such to get that info? thanks.

I modded it a little. I was monitoring my up-pipes with the BD but this turbo is non waste gated. I have not been able to give her hell yet to see where i am at. Still working some bugs out.

My CP3 is a bone stock LBZ unit that I bought new (from a DP member), took out of the box and installed. With the 90hp nozzles I was running a very short PW and would hardly haze enough going down the track for it to be visible. Pressure was still dropping to 20K and if I opened PW it dropped much further, which is why I have dual fuelers that I was going to install.

When I was refering to you hitting 11s with the A5K I was comparing to our LB7 that has dual CP3's (both are stock LB7 units) and a T3 A5K and has gone 11.41 on fuel. So your times will depend on how much fuel your modded CP3 will allow you to run - the A5K will provide plenty of air.

Are there any differences between a t3 A5k and a t4 A5k other than the flange size? What is the advantage or disadvantage between one to the other?

Drive pressures. The GT42s T4 compared to the A5Ks T3. Heres picks of my A5K. It had enough I guess.

I guess the end play should of been checked a little more often. That thrust bearing really takes a beating, I caught mine just in time.
