man that sucks i allready have rooms booked for the family and a buddy nice ones to with hot tubs in the rooms hehehe and have the time taken off work dam i hope they dont shut down this is the only "diesel event" i get to go to vegas cali ect is to far away for the family tucson is doable but tucson sucks in my oponion i avoid it as much as possiable

At this point ive "heard" the county has given Speedworld till the end of may so they can finish up the spring racing season. This is not set in stone or direct from anyone at speedworld but its promising.

boils down to the fact the county/state has decided its going to take back all its state trust land that it has leased out due to "liabilities". Canyon raceway/MX track is going away, as well as a few others on state trust land. Not as quick as speedworld but its happening.

IMOP, they see housing growing out toward these parks and see money to be had in selling the land off to different types of developers. its gunna come down to these places having to either own their own land or rent from other land owners. Speedworld has already started on this

well been hearing that the races got canclled anybody got any offical word on that heard it today at work by some of the guys planing on going

X2 this is bull. Word of mouth works two ways. It's not like this is 4 months out. Serious people like to have a plan and make arrangements in advance. I keep hearing they are allowed to stay open for the spring season.

NHRDA needs to stay on top of this and give timely reports or Phoenix will be nothing but a test and tune. People from all over the country and Canada spend a lot of money bringing their trucks down. The deserve to be kept abreast in a timely matter.
