Found A Little Trick To Pass
:thumb: Went to test 2 weeks ago and failed. Hadn't done anything to the truck in the last year to make it fail. I was perplexed when the tester told me my truck smoked real bad. It's never smoked at all. Well sure enough if I slammed down on the skinny peddle a cloud of black smoke came out because the turbo didn't have time to spool up. Without changing the tune or anything else I went back to the same test place and just pushed down on the accelerator easy the 3 times and lo and behold she passed with flying colors. She has EGR blocker and DPF disabled and gutted. Tested on Race position of EFI Live. Hope this helps.

well the tester guys didnt know crap about diesels, there were 4 of them looking under the hood of my truck for a few minutes, they wouldn't let me get out of my truck, one guy came up and said "i dont see any emissions devices what did you do to this truck, i said nothing check your book there are no emmissions in 02 just california only" about a minute later after looknig through the book i saw his say to the guy next to him "california only". they did the snap test 3 times and i was gentle on it and then he said ok your good to go.
